Quick facts about Zika, Malaria and Dengue virus Part 3 (3)

Malaria is spread by the Anopheles mosquito. Spread all over the world but mainly in the tropics. Symptoms are, among others, recurrent fever and chills every second or third day. The incubation period is usually 2-4 weeks. Protect yourselve against mosquito bites with mosquito nets and there is a rumor that GinTonic may help (this is not confirmed). Many explorers have died of malaria, Vasco da Gama, Amerigo Vespuci and Dr. Livingstone.
