Quick facts about Zika, Malaria and Dengue virus Part 1 (3)

Zika (chikungunya virus) is spread by Aedes mosquitoes outdoors, usually in the morning and evening. Mainly in the Caribbean and Central America. The symptoms are similar to Dengue fever: high fever, headache, muscle and joint pain. The incubation period is 3-10 days. Recommended protection, solid clothing, insect repellent and mosquito nets.
